Curriculum
McAuley Catholic College provides a comprehensive educational program based on and taught in accordance with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabuses for Secondary Education. Students study NESA mandated and approved courses leading towards the Record of School Achievement (RoSA) Award. The school offers 28 Higher School Certificate (HSC) courses and 2 extension courses.
McAuley Catholic College offers a comprehensive range of courses for students of all academic abilities. The curriculum, designed by NESA (NSW Educational Standards Authority), is implemented by the Key Learning Areas within the College. This includes:

Stage 4: Year 7 and Year 8

Stage 5: Year 9 and Year 10

Students in Year 9 and 10 are given the opportunity to select two electives courses that they study for two years (200 hour) and one elective course that they study for one year (100 hour). Students may choose from the following electives:

Stage 6: Year 11 and Year 12
Students at Mcauley Catholic College for their Preliminary and HSC years are required to complete at least one Religious Education course.
