How to Enrol
APPLICATION
All applications for enrolment at McAuley Catholic College are made online using the Application for Enrolment form available on the College website www.grafslism.catholic.edu.au.
The Application Form will request digital copies of your child's Birth, Baptismal and Immunisation Certificates, a recent School Report and NAPLAN Report.
This is an application only and its submission does not constitute automatic enrolment in the College. All applications for enrolment are made directly to the Principal.

Following receipt of the Application for Enrolment Form by the College, a formal interview involving the Principal (or nominated representative), the prospective student and his/her parent/carer may be arranged.
INTERVIEW
On return of your completed Enrolment Application Form and additional documents to the College, your application will be assessed, and an interview time with the Principal (or delegate) may be arranged. The student is to attend the interview with parent(s)/carer(s). This is an opportunity for the staff and families to get to know each other. The College will contact parents/guardians with procedures on how to arrange an interview time.
CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT MAY OCCUR FOLLOWING:
- A successful interview with the Principal or delegate
- The availability of a place according to the eligibility criteria
- Payment of Confirmation Fee
- The preparedness of parents/guardians to accept responsibility for the payment of fees as determined by the College. Any need for special fee arrangements is at the discretion of the Principal, in consultation with the Business Manager.
OPEN NIGHT - ‘COME AND SEE’ VISIT
Our Open Night is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to visit the College, meet our dedicated teachers and be shown around the grounds by our proud students. Open Night is held towards the end of Term One. Information and dates for Open Night will be advertised on the website, radio and newspaper with RSVP facility on our website.
YEAR 7 ORIENTATION DAY
The Orientation Day for all Year 6 students enrolled in Year 7, will be held at the College in Term 4. (Please see the “Save the Dates” flyer in the enrolment pack).
Students will meet teachers as well as students from other schools and will be given a tour of the College to familiarise themselves with the layout and facilities. The day also provides the opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with transport links they will be using. Students wear their Primary School uniform on this day.
All students enrolled in Year 7 for the following year are expected to attend the Term 4 Orientation Day. Parents are invited to attend a Parent Information Evening as part of the Orientation process. Students with additional needs may attend extra transition days as arranged by the Leader of Diversity and Inclusion.
YEAR 7 PARENT INFORMATION EVENING
The Information Evening for parents of enrolled students will be held at the College after the Orientation Day in Term 4.
