Curriculum

McAuley Catholic College offers a broad-based curriculum, with a variety of subjects to suit students’ needs. We aim to provide an inclusive curriculum which motivates and challenges our students to ensure they develop the knowledge and skills required for life after school, whether they choose to move on to post-school study or enter the workforce.

McAuley Catholic College offers high-quality, modern facilities which provide stimulating and well-equipped learning environments. We integrate the use of digital technologies, assisted by the one-to-one laptop program.

As educators in a Catholic School, Jesus Christ is at the heart of what we teach and how we teach it. The teachers at McAuley Catholic College implement a range of learning strategies and pedagogies that cater for individual learning styles, enabling students to work towards achieving their potential.

The curriculum, designed by the NSW Educational Standards Authority is implemented by the Key Learning Areas within the College. These include:

  • Religious Education
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Human Society and its Environment
  • Personal Development, Health and Physical Education
  • Technological and Applied Studies
  • Creative and Performing Arts
